  • Matthew A. Sharp

    Matthew A. Sharp is co-founder and Managing Principal of Hamilton Point Investments LLC.  Prior to forming the company, Mr. Sharp was Director of CMBS Origination at ABN AMRO Bank, N.V., and before that Mr. Sharp was a CMBS analyst at Standard and Poor’s.  Previously, Mr. Sharp was a Vice President in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group at Gruntal & Co., Inc. and a member of the Acquisitions Group at Schroder Real Estate Associates.  Mr. Sharp began his real estate career in 1991 as an analyst in the Investment Properties Group at CB Commercial Real Estate.

    Mr. Sharp graduated from Columbia University (B.A. 1990) and received his Master’s Degree in Real Estate Investment from New York University (M.S. 1991). He was formerly the Chairman of the Town of Lyme Board of Finance and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the MacCurdy-Salisbury Educational Foundation.

  • J. David Kelsey

    David Kelsey is co-founder and Managing Principal of Hamilton Point Investments LLC. Previously, Mr. Kelsey was a principal with Trinity Hotel Investors L.L.C., a New York-based real estate and hotel investment partnership formed in 2002 which owned 22 properties with total costs of $500 million. He has 30 years of real estate investing, lending and advisory experience. Prior to joining Trinity, Mr. Kelsey was with the Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc.’s Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking Group from 1996 to 2003 as a senior Vice President acting for public and private real estate clients in securities placement, capital structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and dispositions. He also served as a loan officer for M&T Bank in New York City, underwriting $75 million of loans for commercial real estate borrowers. Mr. Kelsey made his first direct real estate investment in 1988.

    Mr. Kelsey received an A.B. in History modified with Geography from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. He is active in the community as a member of both municipal and non-profit boards.

Manufactured Homes - Partners

  • Kenneth Shea

    Mr. Shea has over 30 years of experience as an investment banker, investor and operator, focused primarily on the real estate, gaming, lodging & leisure sectors.

    Mr. Shea is currently a Co-Founder and Managing Principal of Manufactured Housing Partners, LLC, (“MHP LLC”) a private, real estate investment fund focused on the acquisition and operation of manufactured housing communities.

    Prior to founding MHP LLC in 2022, Mr. Shea was an Investment Partner with Pilot Growth Equity, a venture capital firm focused on growth-stage technology companies, from 2020 to 2022.

    Previously, Mr. Shea was a Senior Managing Director at Guggenheim Securities, LLC, from 2014 to 2019, where he ran the Firm’s Real Estate, Gaming & Leisure investment banking department; President of Coastal Capital Management, LLC, a developer of luxury resort & entertainment properties from 2009 to 2014; a Managing Director for Icahn Capital LP, from 2008 to 2009; and a Senior Managing Director at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc, where he ran the Firm’s Gaming & Leisure Investment Banking practice, and was employed from 1996 to 2008.

    Mr. Shea received his MBA from the University of Virginia, and his BA in Economics, Magna cum laude, from Boston College.

  • Steve Mongillo

    Mr. Mongillo has over 30 years of experience acquiring, managing and financing commercial real estate and other industries.

    Mr. Mongillo is a co-founder and Managing Principal of Manufactured Housing Partners, LLC (“MHP LLC”), a private real estate investment fund partnered with Hamilton Point Investments LLC to acquire and operate manufactured housing communities. Mr. Mongillo is a director and Chairman of the Audit Committee for Icahn Enterprises LP, a diversified holding company controlled by billionaire investor Carl Icahn, and a director and Chairman of the Audit Committee for CVR Energy, Inc., which engaged in the petroleum refinery and nitrogen fertilizer manufacturing industries. In addition, Mr. Mongillo is currently the Chairman of AMF, Inc., a distributor of framing supplies, of which he has been the principal shareholder since its acquisition in 2012.

    Previously, Mr. Mongillo was a Managing Director for Icahn Capital, LP from 2007 to 2011 and a Senior Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance Group at Bear, Stearns, & Co, Inc., where he oversaw the Leveraged Finance Group’s efforts in the Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging and Leisure, Health Care, Restaurant and Education sectors from 1997 to 2007.

    Mr. Mongillo received a BA from Trinity College and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College.

Corporate

  • Graham Aird

    Mr. Aird is a Senior Associate of Corporate Finance and Asset Management for Hamilton Point Investments LLC, where he supports the Managing Principals in analysis of fund and asset level investment performance. Previously, Mr. Aird was an Investment and Acquisitions analyst at Pyramid Global Hospitality where he spent two years actively involved in the diligence and underwriting of new investment opportunities. Mr. Aird received a B.A. in International Studies and Economics from Boston College in 2021.

  • Chelsey Barker

    Ms. Barker is the Executive Assistant to the Managing Principals at Hamilton Point Investments LLC. Prior to joining Hamilton Point Investments, Ms. Barker gained 8 years of customer service experience. Ms. Barker graduated from Curry College in May of 2022 with a B.A. in Politics & History with a double minor in Communications and Sociology.

  • Sophia Tsikitas

    Ms. Tsikitas is the Administrative Assistant at Hamilton Point Investments LLC. Ms. Tsikitas has multiple years of administrative and customer service experience supporting various organizations. Ms. Tsikitas graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2022 with a B.S. in Business Administration concentrating in management.

  • Elizabeth Wallett

    Ms. Wallett is the Director of Investor Relations for Hamilton Point Investments LLC. Ms. Wallett is responsible for all aspects of capital formation and investor relations and reporting. Before joining Hamilton Point Investments, she served as the Assistant Director of Investor Relations for Aravt Global LLC, a global equity investment firm. She also previously served in operational and administrative roles at Aravt Global, MKM Partnerships and JP Morgan Chase & Co. Ms. Wallett earned her B.A. in English Literature from the University of Connecticut in 2014.

Equity Sales

  • Todd Williams

    Todd F. Williams, Esq. is Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing – West Coast for Hamilton Point Investments LLC. Prior to joining HPI, Todd F. Williams, Esq. spent 4.5 years as the West Coast Regional Director of Sales for Terra Capital Partners. Terra Capital Partners offered Reg. D Funds as well as the first SEC registered Real Estate Debt BDC for the purpose of investing in a diversified portfolio of real estate loans. Mr. Williams experience also includes a position as the Chief Marketing Officer for Argus Realty Investors, a sponsor of securitized real estate Investments. During his tenure, Argus syndicated over $1.5 Billion in commercial real estate and raised over $550 Million in equity in over 40 separate DPP offerings.

    Mr. Williams is an author, frequent speaker and panel expert on the subject of 1031 exchanges, non-traded REITs, BDCs and DPP products and conducts continuing education seminars for Attorneys, CPAs and Real Estate Professionals. Mr. Williams is licensed as an attorney and a Real Estate Broker in California, and holds Series 7, 22, 39 and 63 licenses from FINRA.

  • Randee Soriano

    Ms. Soriano is Senior Internal Wholesaler for Hamilton Point Investments LLC, working with Todd Williams in the Western territory.  She works closely with financial advisors, providing sales and marketing support for the HPI real estate funds. Ms. Soriano began her career working on Wall Street with the investment banking firm, Dominick & Dominick.  For the past 20 years, she has focused her career on direct investments and has represented sponsors of oil & gas, equipment leasing and both debt and equity commercial real estate products. Ms. Soriano holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.

  • Scott Farrington

    Scott Farrington is the Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hamilton Point Investments LLC. Mr. Farrington has over 25 years of wholesaling experience in both the investment and financial sectors. He oversees equity sales of HPI’s investment offerings for the eastern United States. Mr. Farrington previously served as the Regional Director of Sales for MDS Energy, where he was responsible for the company’s sales and marketing efforts in the southeast. He has also served as a Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Inland Securities and Wells Real Estate, where he advised on Non-Traded REITs and 1031 replacement property.

  • Nick Erpelding

    Nick Erpelding is an Internal Wholesaler for Hamilton Point Investments LLC, working with Scott Farrington in the Eastern Territory.  Mr. Erpelding has almost 20 years of experience throughout the financial services industry. He is responsible for raising equity for HPI’s real estate private equity funds by supporting registered representatives with information on the firm’s offerings. Mr. Erpelding previously served as the Associate Vice President Sales Desk Manager for NorthStar Securities, where he was responsible for leading NorthStar’s internal sales efforts, primarily focused on overseeing, developing and implementing the retail distribution strategy for NorthStar’s wholesalers.  Mr. Erpelding graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Administration from Regis University and holds FINRA series 63,66,7,9,10,24 licenses.

  • Nicholas Detorie

    Mr. Detorie is Vice President of National Accounts with Hamilton Point Investments LLC, where he is responsible for broker-dealer communications and due diligence. Mr. Detorie has 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, and he previously spent three years at Terra Capital Partners as Vice President of Due Diligence, where he oversaw all due diligence and broker-dealer  communications. Prior to Terra Capital, he served as a National Accounts Associate at Cohen & Steers working with wirehouse, independent broker dealers and RIAs. Mr. Detorie earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of New Mexico and currently holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Acquisitions

  • Bridget Chase

    Ms. Chase is Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Dispositions where she focuses on financial and market analysis, valuation, due diligence, financing and closing of HPI acquisitions. She also spearheads disposition processes for HPI property sales. Previously, Ms. Chase was Senior Real Estate Appraiser for Valbridge Property Advisors, where she spent six years valuing multifamily and commercial properties. She received a B.S. in Business Administration from University of Connecticut in 2008, where she majored in Real Estate and Urban Economics.

  • Ian Kelsey

    Mr. Kelsey is a Senior Associate of Acquisitions and Dispositions where he focuses on financial and market analysis, valuation, due diligence, financing and closing of HPI acquisitions. He also works with Ms. Chase on all HPI dispositions. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College in 2018.

  • Kyle Smith

    Mr. Smith is a Senior Associate of Acquisitions and Dispositions for Hamilton Point Investments LLC, where he supports the Managing Principals in analysis of fund and asset level investment performance.  Mr. Smith received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut in 2018.

Portfolio Management

  • Ondrew Adams

    Mr. Adams is the Senior Vice President of Capital Projects for Hamilton Point Investments LLC, where he oversees all aspects of the capital projects division.  Prior to joining HPI, he served as a Senior Project Manager specializing in Multifamily/Commercial construction.  During his tenure of Senior Project Manager, Mr. Adams has cultivated his strengths in all aspects of multifamily project development.  While working throughout the southeast region, he has completed numerous multi-million-dollar projects.  Mr. Adams attended Mars Hill University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

  • Pierson Castle

    As the Project Manager of Capital Projects at Hamilton Point Investments, Mr. Castle oversees construction projects, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow. Mr. Castle is involved in managing all construction teams during the life of the projects, with an emphasis on completing the projects quietly and on schedule. Mr. Castle assists in assessing the feasibility of projects to make sure they meet the needs of HPI.

    Mr. Castle has been in the multifamily/student housing renovation sector for several years with over $16M in completed contacts and has completed projects on over 100 properties. Before moving into the multifamily renovation, Mr. Castle worked in commercial tank industry completing projects for SpaceX and Exxon Mobile. Outside of work, he is an outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with family and friends. He and his wife enjoy attending comedy specials and are Arkansas Razorback fans!

Property Operations

  • Jaime Rauscher

    Ms. Jaime Rauscher serves as President for Hamilton Point Property Management LLC. In her role, Ms. Rauscher oversees all aspects of operations and asset optimization to include development of asset strategies, yield management, and leadership of regional and asset level teams. Prior to joining HPI, Ms. Rauscher founded Axiom Multifamily Consulting, a full service advisory group that provided support and strategic leadership to operators and multifamily investors throughout the southeast. Ms. Rauscher also served as executive vice president and chief operating officer at Monument Real Estate Services where her responsibilities included oversight of the firm’s operating teams, as well as all aspects of construction, marketing and business service efforts. Ms. Rauscher attended the University of Georgia where she majored in Business Management.

  • Melissa Sheldon

    Ms. Sheldon is Senior Vice President of Hamilton Point Property Management LLC, a wholly owned affiliate of Hamilton Point Investments. Ms. Sheldon has over 28 years of property management experience. Prior to Hamilton Point, Ms. Sheldon was a senior management executive with Trammel Crow Residential/Riverstone Group for 11 years. Previously, she was with AIMCO/ NHP, one of the country’s largest publicly-traded multifamily owner-managers, for six years and Capital Properties, where she was District Manager of over 1,200 apartment units.

  • Vernessa Badley

    Ms. Badley is the Director of Operations overlooking the Oklahoma and Arkansas properties for Hamilton Point Property Management LLC.  She has 20 years of property management experience in Multi-Family.  Prior to joining HPPM, she was the Assistant Vice President of NE Property Management with communities throughout Oklahoma.  She attended college at Oklahoma State University.

  • Lisa Davis

    Ms. Davis is the Director of Operations overseeing a portfolio of Multifamily communities throughout the Southeast. She has 25 years of property management experience.  Prior to joining HPPM, she was a Sr. Regional Director overseeing a luxury portfolio of mid-rise and garden communities throughout Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, and South Carolina. She attended the University of Dubuque, Iowa earning a BS in Biochemistry. She also earned an MBA with a concentration in marketing and finance.  She holds a real estate license in Georgia, Alabama, and Louisiana.

  • Lora Halacheff

    Ms. Halacheff is the Director of Operations – Student Living of Hamilton Point Property Management LLC NC, SC, IN, OH, MO, MI, KY properties. She has over 20 years of experience in real estate sales and property management. Before joining HPPM, Ms. Halacheff served as a Regional Manager & Partner with Aspen Square Management for 15 years, overseeing multifamily student housing, conventional, and tax credit properties

  • Geraldine Patterson

    Ms. Patterson is the Director of Operations of the Manufactured Home Communities Division at Hamilton Point Investments LLC. Ms. Patterson brings 26 years of experience in the multifamily industry that encompasses conventional, affordable, tax credit, home ownership, student housing, rural development, and senior housing experience. She has managed several communities for Hamilton Point Investments LLC throughout the entire portfolio: providing site-level training, onboarding, with performing/completing due diligence, and overseeing capital improvement projects.

    Prior to joining Hamilton Point Investments LLC, Ms. Patterson worked in the multifamily industry for several privately owned companies such as: SWAP (Stop Wasting Abandoned Properties, Dimeo Properties, Elderly Housing Management and Jamco Properties. Ms. Patterson is a graduate of the New England Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.

     

  • Justin Ugwu

    Mr. Ugwu is the Assistant Director of Operations for the Manufactured Home Communities Division of Hamilton Point Investments LLC, with a focus on strategic asset optimization, rebranding, and fiscal analysis. He has over twelve years of multifamily management experience (encompassing the conventional, affordable, tax credit, and student housing segments) with extensive experience in value-add capital projects, due diligence, and acquisition/disposition processes. Prior to joining the Manufactured Housing Division Team, Mr. Ugwu managed a Hamilton Point Investments LLC conventional asset and provided site-level operations support to the entire Southeast portfolio of conventional and student housing assets, with a focus on daily operations, fiscal analysis, and associate training.

    Mr. Ugwu graduated from Morgan State University in 2006 with a B.A. in Political Science, Minor in Pre-Law and received an M.B.A. from American Intercontinental University in 2018. He also earned the CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) in 2011 and CAMT (Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technician) in 2012 from the National Apartment Association.

  • Lindsey Williams

    Ms. Williams is the Director of Training and Development for Hamilton Point Properties. In her day to day she works directly with the Leadership team, community managers and site teams of Hamilton Point by implementing new policies and procedures to help the company reach the goals set before us.  She joined the industry in 2010 and advanced with in the field since that time.  Lindsey attended Rogers State University for Accounting and Cyber Security.

  • Tyler Billings

    Tyler Billings is Director of Revenue and Marketing for Hamilton Point Investments LLC, overseeing pricing strategy and national marketing accounts. Mr. Billings has come to Hamilton Point with more than 12 years of multifamily real estate experience where he oversaw revenue management, asset optimization, and financial analysis. Mr. Billings received his Doctorate from California Intercontinental University.  Before multifamily, Mr. Billings served as Corpsman in the US Navy.

     

Accounting

  • Steven Montville

    Mr. Montville is Chief Financial Officer of Hamilton Point Investments LLC. Mr. Montville has over 20 years of accounting and real estate asset management experience. Previously, Mr. Montville worked in the accounting group at real estate investment company Readco, LLC where he was responsible for financial and bank reporting on over 60 LLCs that controlled over two million square feet of office and retail properties. He was also responsible at Readco for ongoing reporting to the company’s institutional joint venture equity partners. Mr. Montville received a B.A. in Business Management from Clark University.

  • Tiffany Skapin

    Ms. Skapin is the Director of Accounting and Controller of Hamilton Point Property Management LLC. In her role, Ms. Skapin focuses on overseeing the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for the entire property portfolio. Ms. Skapin has over 15 years of accounting experience working in both the public and private sector. She has spent eight of these years focused on real estate and private equity management. Prior to joining Hamilton Point, Ms. Skapin was the Controller for Lamont Street Partners, LLC, a private equity firm where she fulfilled a dual function in both financial accounting and reporting as well as investor relations. She received her Master’s in Accounting from the University of Alabama-Birmingham, and a BA in Accounting from Stetson University.

  • Shonteya Sharp-Walker

    Mrs. Sharp-Walker is the Director of Accounting for the Manufactured Homes Division, bringing over 20 years of invaluable experience in the accounting and finance spectrum. Mrs. Sharp-Walker received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Monroe College, Bronx, NY. Additionally, Mrs. Sharp-Walker holds an M.B.A from Southern Connecticut State University, further enhancing her expertise in the field.

    Beyond her professional achievements, Mrs. Sharp-Walker cherishes every moment with her loving family, including her husband and four wonderful children.

  • Diane Mikkelson

    Ms. Mikkelson is Assistant Controller at Hamilton Point Property Management LLC. Previously, Ms. Mikkelson spent 12 years in commercial real estate accounting with Readco, LLC, a Connecticut-based real estate investment and management company. Her primary expertise is in the area of cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, job cost accounting and partnership distributions for multiple operating, partnership and holding companies.

  • Anne Guy

    Ms. Guy is the Human Resources Director at Hamilton Point Property Management and is responsible for payroll and human resources. Ms. Guy brings over 25 years of payroll experience, having worked previously for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation as a Finance Manager, supervising payroll and accounts payable, and most recently with Medoptions as Payroll Manager. She earned her B.A. in Art History from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

  • Kim Barbour

    Ms. Barbour is Property Accounts Manager at Hamilton Point Property Management LLC. In this role, Ms. Barbour oversees property spending, vendor practices and bookkeeping for each of Hamilton Point’s properties. She previously worked at Commercial Management Inc. as a property manager and leasing associate. There she developed and implemented property-level budgets and supervised vendor practices and compliance for the company’s real estate assets.

  • Lauren Belger

    Ms. Belger is the Property Accountant in the Accounts Payable department of Hamilton Point Property Management LLC. Ms. Belger has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, most recently with Scranton Financial Group for 7 years. Previously, she was a licensed life and health agent working with advisors at Merritt Assurance Group, Underwriters Support Group and Phoenix Mutual.

  • Mona Dadarwala

    Ms. Dadarwala started at Hamilton Point Investments LLC in 2021 and has over 20 years of experience in Finance and Property Management. She was a Purchasing Agent at the Mystic Aquarium as well as taking on accounts payable responsibilities. Ms. Dadarwala has also managed a franchised hotel property in Connecticut. She currently holds the Property Accountant position at Hamilton Point Investments. Ms. Dadarwala and Ms. Belger work together and oversees all of the property’s A/P. Ms. Dadarwala graduated from Century College in Minnesota and lives in Connecticut with her husband, children, and their mini golden doodle.
